Special Projects Committee
The Special Projects Committee comprises a core group of members: the First Vice-President, who serves as Chairman of Special Projects; one past President; the Program Chair and three additional members selected by the Chair. The Committee will research, evaluate, and recommend projects and/or speakers worthy of support with funds from the Peony Fund, Jean Frazier Fund, GCC donations and all fundraising activity. Project proposals must be approved by a 2/3 vote of the Board of Trustees and the final project shall be selected by the membership at the Annual Meeting.
A Special Project is voted on by members of the club at the Annual Meeting, and is funded primarily through our yearly fundraiser HARVEST BOUTIQUE.
Our inaugural Special Projects Grant in 2022 was made to Edna House for Women.
